BEGINNER CLASSES

Saturday

Instructor John Petkovsky, Project Scandinavian Horse

Main focus will be on correct usage of tools, basic cuts and finish painting on a stylized horse project. This is a delightful project to begin wood carving. There will be a limited amount of tools available for participants to use. The cost of the class is $10.00 plus a blank charge of $3.00.

Sunday

Instructor Lyle Morgan, Project Arizona Santa

These are in the round carvings. There will be emphasis on basic cuts and proper tool sharpening and handling. This is an excellent example project for the first time carver. The cost of the class is $10.00 plus blank charge of $2.00.

INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

Saturday

Instructor Bill Macdougall, Project Santa Ornament

A step by step approach on how to carve various facial features. This was an award winner last year at the Erie Co. Fair. The cost of the class is $25.00 plus a blank charge of $5.00.

Sunday

Instructor Chris Kieber, Project Hatching Snakes

The project is a snake emerging from its egg. This is a very eye catching project and is sure to be a conversational piece. The cost of the class is $25.00

Instructor Joel Falkowski, Project Bark Face

A face will be carved on cottonwood bark. The class is an introduction on facial feature layout. The size of the project is dependent on the size of the bark. The cost of the class is $25.00. The cost of the bark ranges from $10.00 to $20.00, or you may bring your own bark.
